gardening

A bit fried this week, by the real actual temperature outside and perhaps an overuse of beard oil. Also by the sheer volume of media, personal flux, and the general wonderful terrible gravity of this moment in our lives.

Lists are about all I have in me as I begin typing. Truth told, when pared down my mind is just a pile of collections and lists that rattle gleefully about the inner shell of my skull.

I am reading

Akilah Hughes’ Obviously and it had me laugh crying within its first 30 pages.

Fiddler’s Green Zine

Imagined patterns in the plaster on the ceiling. An old habit.

I plan to be reading soon

Weird Walk 3, Between the World and Me, More James and Angela

Listening

Good Ancestor Podcast (shining and brilliant)

Phoebe Bridgers – Punisher LP (grand and beautiful)

This live gem:

Pristine, discovered while thrifting

I am watching

The Watchmen. Always. On repeat.

Weeping

Simone Giertz is a ongoing creative hilarious delight, and also she’ll by you a book you should definitely read from MahoganyBooks.com

Warning: May Induce Laughter (Possibly Uncontrollable)

Thank you for reading. Onward to tomorrow =]
